Met zijn eerste zakgeld werd er al vinyl gekocht. Alles werd op bandjes gezet om de boel zijn oren in te krijgen. Roots, reggae en (DUB)steppers is waar het Jah Depender om gaat. Reggae Soundsystems gaven hem een introductie in "The Sounds of the Allmighty"!! Jah Depender is vaak voor de basboxen te vinden bij soundsystems en achter de draaitafels in Bitterzoet, Patronaat en op Radio bassculture. Delen is geven!!

The Parttime Warrior fell in love with the broken beats of the oldskool jungle. Being a vinyljunky he plays his tunes on the radio, at home and in clubs like OT301, MS Stubitz, HMH, Patronaat.

Every Wednesday he spins on Radio Bassculture along with Dj Jah Depender. Parttime Warrior is always looking for crossovers between new and old bass orientated music (Jungle, Grime, Reggae and Dub(Step).
